This double-yarn knitted cardi was made from delicate alpaca wool. Nice and warm, with colorful shades straight from the rainbow, was a gift for my Sister. I’ve improvised this pattern, inspired by Dorota from this blog.
The sleeves were made using magic-loop method. The cardi was knitted from down edge with purl stitches, on round needles, with increasing needle size up to armpit. At appropriate height all parts of the sweater were joined and knitted as one, forming the upper part of arms and a collar. The hem was knitted toegether with the rest of cardi with moss stitch.
Colours of the body and sleeves of the cardi were changing across the length by adding one thread of new color to one thread of the previous one.
