Pre block 14.75sts x 20 rows =10 cm²
Post block 13sts x 19 rows = 10 cm²

This will give me a 106cm circumference around the chest on a size XS BUT… my tension will probably tighten up a little while knitting in the round so it’ll be slightly smaller, which is fine with me. ETA: tension in round was 14sts after blocking so spot on with the pattern.

I do not swatch in the round for myself. I have done for testing but generally cannot be arsed with the effort nor with the waste of yarn. And my tension isn’t that dramatically different anyway.

Final thoughts

Love the finished jumper. It’s softened up really nicely and grew to the perfect length, both in the body and the sleeves. I can’t wait to wear it!

Split for body tonight. It’s looking very good after a quick try on and I’m excited to have it finished. Going to try and make some good progress on it tomorrow. Holding Aran and lace together is a little bit annoying though as they keep twisting around each other but at least this will grow quickly.

Finished the body today. I’m very pleased with how it’s looking so far but very disappointed with Tilia so far. It’s absolutely gorgeous yarn but one of the 3 balls I’ve used had 3 knots in it (2 within 50cm of each other ) and I’m not even halfway through it yet. I feel it costs enough that the quality control should be better than this.

Ready to start the ribbing on the first sleeve and the Tilia is still stupidly full of knots. That’s 4 in the same ball so far. Extremely annoying.
Otherwise, the jumper is looking so good! I can’t wait to block it and wear it.

Started 2nd sleeve today. I’ll probably finish it tomorrow. Ribbing on sleeve is 20 rounds.
