These socks are flying off my needles. Started them on a
whim last night and I’m already at the heel flap! The stitch pattern is very intuitive and there’s a lot of plain stocking stitch which helps.
I tried my first twisted German cast on and I love how stretchy it is! Might well sub it for the tubular one from now on as this is a lot easier and much quicker. It also seems sturdier.
Knitted 14 rounds of twisted rib and worked 60 rounds for the leg: 3x the chart.

Didn’t knit much over the weekend and the little I did knit had to be unpicked because I made a mess of the
heel flap.
I’ve now finished the gusset and am well on my way. Really enjoying these and the leaf motif is really cute.

Started toe decreases after chart row 3. Knitted a plain round before starting though.

Only 15 stitches on the top of the foot (nature of the design) so only did 3decs on the first round.

Second sock should be done tomorrow. Only one more chart repeat to go and then toe decreases.

I really like this yarn but I have found it a little bit splitty and too easy to knit only “some” of the stitch rather than the whole thing sometimes.
