Notes

It seems fitting to start this test knit on May Day, with the beautiful Wishing Well color way, contrasting heels in Cactus Flower, and the cute little flower stitch.

Patricia’s Coco Sockette pattern is well written, and delight to knit. Each sock used just 18 grams of yarn, total, so I have plenty of yarn left for another pair.

I had a bit of difficulty with the third loop in the flower pattern, which was easily remedied by using a small crochet hook to grab the third loop. Switching to the main color for the last knit row of the sock, before the I-cord bind off helped avoid any of the main color peeking through.

Lastly, I recommend following Patricia’s advice to cast on the second sock right away in order to avoid the dreaded “second sock syndrome”! It is the best advice, ever!
