This was a quick and fun knit. Did only 8 of the purl round sections, and the hat turned out with just the right amount of slouch for me. Love the folded brim, and it sure does keep me warm, and is just long enough to pull down over my eyes to use as a eye mask while napping in the car. :)

I used two colors, so when switching from the variegated yarn (4 rows of knit) to the solid color (purl sections), I knit one row of purple to avoid the extra color showing up in the purl section, then proceeded to purl the 5 rows of purple.
