Made a Roots inspired scarf for Ry.

1. Cast on 56 st with Caron heather gray yarn on US sz 5.
2. Slip 1, k1, p1 repeat from * to last stitch. Knit last stitch through back loop.
3. Slip 1, knit all stitches (knit last stitch through back loop)
4. Repeat #2 & 3 until it measures 1.5” ending in Row 2.
5. Switch to black yarn and US 6 needle. Continue using Row 3 pattern.
6. Repeat # 2 & 3 until black section measures 1.5” ending in Row 2.
7. Switch back to Caron heather gray yarn on US sz 5 for another 3”. Continue using Row 3 pattern.
8. Switch to Dark Grey Yarn and work Row 3 pattern
9. Repeat rows 2 & 3 until it is as long as you prefer, ending in Row 2.
10. Switch to Caron heather gray yarn and work # 7
11. Switch to black yarn and work # 5
12. Switch to Caron heather gray and work # 2 & 3
