This is another superb pattern by CaroCreated. Her patterns are detailed and varied. They take time and effort, so if you are after a quickie they are simply not for you! They will not be rushed and are, for me our hobby at its purest. Each part is different, interesting and challenging. You need to count and concentrate, but if you do, you are more than rewarded.

Each part of the doll is individual. Here, there are pretty little sleeves to match the dress underneath the coat sleeves which you can’t really see. There is a little collar on the dress which is just visible above the coat. You give her little bangs which are hidden under the hat so she is complete from inside out. Layered, like a real person!

The coat is where you can let your imagination go. Carola has a very detailed colourguide, which I changed () to suit my stash, but I did follow the placing of the colours because I think the balance is important.

I love this little hippie girl. I have just got a campervan for travelling at the ripe old age of 56, so she is the girl I was underneath the Accountant exterior!

It took me a month of pretty intense crochet, but I was working to a deadline so I didn’t pause much. There is no need to rush it, relax, enjoy playing with colours and chill man
