Body:
With 2,5 mm needles CO 228 sts in tubular CO, place marker1, knit 2x2 ribbing for 5cm.
Place two markers to indicate steek - pm2 one st before m1?, k5 st in pattern, pm3.
With 3,5 needles start knitting giant fairisle chart according to design
Sleeves:
With 2,5 mm needles CO st for a double sleeve steeked tube.
Button band:
Solid band:
CO&K 108 st (3 sts of band out of 4 sts of body for body part, 2 st out of 3 on ribbing), turn, pick up the yarn loops of the previously cant on sts (107).
Beg knitting on 3.5 mm for 4 rows, in 5th row knit together sts from back and front needle to close the steek pocket.
6th row: 2.5 mm needles, k12 in 2x2 ribbing, m1, continue adding 1st every 12sts (8 times) = 116 sts
knit 14 more rows in ribbing, BO 15th row with simple crochet hook BO
Buttonhole band:
same as above for the first 12 rows, in 13th row make 5 buttonholes (5sts each):
k 4st in ribbing, {5st crochet buttonhole, k25sts in ribbing} k until the end (the last section of ribbing will be 18sts, not 25).
Knit 7 more rows in ribbing, BO 15th row with simple crochet hook BO
Neckband:
PO&K 180 sts from the wrong side of garment,
with 2.5mm needles knit 11in stockinette, p2, k2x2 ribbing until 11 sts remain, knit them in stockinette
dont forget to make 2 buttonholes (so that the button comes through the folded neckband, not only its inner layer (3 sts from side edge, 5sts buttonhole)
Fold the neckband to the right side of garment and sew it to the neckline
