I am going to make this rug again. So, this is the 2nd time I have used this pattern.

I remember, I need to watch my stitch count across the rows.

I am using 4 strands of yarn held together.

One strand is from a damaged cream boucle cone. I have a number of these cones and they were damaged in my last move. I tried to save them but they have been permanently discolored. I just realized they would make a great addition as an extra strand in rugs. They should help stiffen up the rug because this particular yarn is stiffer than other yarns that I have.

Chain 61, 26 inches long, 9 mm hook

8 mm hook for rest of rug.

11 rows - 23 inches wide.

Border
I continued the same stitch around the border. Corners are (linen stitch, ch 2, linen stitch) in each corner.

Border round 1 had enough of the green and then it was replaced with the pink/white for border round 2.
