I have a hank of gray yarn that was gifted to me from a friend that was purging her stash. I think this is wool. Could be wrong though. Still, there should be enough here to make a scarf. At least 1 scarf!

There was just enough of this yarn to make one string of 5 skulls and one of 4 skulls. As a scarf, it would have only needed to be 5 skulls on each side. Not enough yarn though to make the scarf.

I tried 2 different types of hanging chains - 1 for each strip. I had 12 inches of yarn left over.

This yarn is strange in that it feels kind of rubbery after it has been crocheted. Didn’t feel like that in the hank. Who knows what fiber it is made of.

The next thing to do is to launder and try to get the skulls to lay flat.
