This is a pattern in german. I put the name at the top of the page through the translater and it comes out as
Much Beloved Pineapple Pattern
so that is the name of this pattern.
Again, I don’t know the source. But from what I can tell, G. Maier is the designer.
so far it seems to be a really well written chart and pattern. the only difference in what i am used to is that a small straight line represents a sc. but that is easily discerned by looking at the legend and at the picture.
the thread that i am using is vintage thread and the label has been removed. why this choice? because it was the first one i found that i thought had enough to make this pattern. in other words … why not? lol
Original Pattern Details (as best I can figure out):
15.7” x 32.3” (40 cm x 82 cm), 80 g of “Anchor Lianna 5”, 200 m/50 g per ball, hook size 1.5 or 1.75 mm
we will have to see how this turns out. once you move into the pineapple border it starts to be REALLY overfull. i hate overfull patterns because it is so hard to block them flat. the last 3 rows pull in some of the fullness but you are talking about 5 inches extra on each side after they have been adjusted.
to ease some of the excess fullness you would have to remove 3 of the pattern repeats from the straight sides. you would still have plenty to ease when you block.
