Using a much smaller gauge, I follow the instructions for size 8 years to hopefully ending up with something fitting a 2-3 year old.
Knits up faster than I would have expected. Already three lace repeats into the body part.

Looks like I‘ll be able to finish this adorable little project still this year. Only the icord bind-off of the body is still missing and a relaxing day at the beach in font of me slightly_smiling_face
Update: done! Blocking will only happen back home.
