Knitting cuff-down this time, 56 stitches, 14 pairs of heel flap rows, 15 stitches picked-up on each side, knit the picked-up stitches through the back loop in the first round and starting the gusset decreases right away in that round.

To avoid second sock syndrom, I’m doing a kind of TAAT, however on separate needle sets (one on long circulars using magic loop, the other one on DPNs). I knit one section on sock 1, then same section on sock 2. This works well here, as the yarn needs to get broken after each color section anyway, so all can be worked from the same yarn ball.
