First time working with unspun yarn, very different experience! As I’m a „puller“, I need to give it a little strength by adding a thread to „carry the load“, and so far it works. Also I feel a double strand of Nutiden looks too rustic to me and I won’t get gauge. Pairing it with the thin alpaca yarn provides the drape I’m looking for.
Used 3.5mm for the neckband, 4.5mm for body and sleeves, and 4mm for the body’s hem.

Finished 2/3 of the body and am close to the cuff of the second sleeve. However, I‘ll have to rip back about ⅓ of the first sleeve as it turned out the decrease section started too early for my long arms. On the second sleeve I added half a repeat of chart B and this appears to be about right now. Anyhow, it shouldn’t take too long to get this sweater finished and I’m already looking forward wearing it!

Got sidetracked with some Christmas gift knits and tatting, and casting on two easy-to-carry-along projects for the upcoming vacation trip to the beach. (I’m not going to bother with a 2/3 finished sweater and several skeins of fragile yarn for that.)
Will get this one finished swiftly in January to still get some wear out of it this Winter.

Didn’t want to take this project along to the beach and got back to it only now. Debating with myself a lot about the length of the body. Hope it will work out to my liking if done, the hems are still in work.

Finished! Will block it tomorrow and add pictures latest next weekend. Total weight only 370g - amazing!
