Start weight of new skein: 47g

Cast-on 8 stitches with Judy’s magic cast-on. Put the lower 4 on an extra needle and started with the upper ones a 4-stitch icord. Knit 3 rows, pick-up a stitch from the icord‘s 2nd row slip the stitches from the extra needle to the working needle, turn. Purl the 4 first stitches, knit 1, slip 4. Turn.

Knit 4, knit 1, make 1, slip 4 wyib; turn; purl 4, knit 2, slip 4 wyif; turn
(Knit 4, knit 2, slip 4 wyib; turn; purl 4, knit 2, slip 4 wyif; turn) x 3
Knit 4, knit 2, make 1, slip 4 wyib; turn; purl 4, knit 3, slip 4 wyif; turn
(Knit 4, knit 3, slip 4 wyib; turn; purl 4, knit 3, slip 4 wyif; turn) x 3
… and so on, up to 32 garter stitches, then start decreasing in the same frequency.
Make 1: lift the purl bump underneath the last knit stitch to working needle and knit.
