Notes

Beautiful yarn and I’m hitting gauge with it.
Collar: looking at other projects many necklines grew too large to my liking. Therefore, I decided to decrease about 10% of the picked-up stitches directly in the first wrong side row by p2tog evenly distributed. Happy with the result!
Sleeves: pick-up 93 stitches with 3.5mm, switch to 4mm for first round, start with k1, p1, sl1pwyo, p3tog, sl1pwyo, p1, …

This project got on the back burner for quite a while as the sleeves appeared to be a never ending task. Now that they are finally finished, I’m hoping to get the rest of the body done in a decent time. Anyhow, I’m already loving it! The softest yarn and the colorway shows off extremely nicely in person, difficult to replicate this in the wip pictures. Will try to do a decent shooting if finally done.
I’m also customizing the pattern, adding a split hem with a 50% longer back, following this nice tutorial. In addition, I worked the edges of the overlapping back hem as double knitting to mimic the optics of the collar.

Finally finished! Currently blocking.

Blocked and dry. Blocking was a challenge in a sense that I could have easily stretched it three sizes lager while wet. It still grew more than anticipated, length is OK, however the sleeves are pretty long now as the drop shoulders stretch a lot despite the iCord. Will try wearing it like that, if it feels too much later, I can still shorten the sleeves a little, no big deal.
