Ring with 36 stitches. Judy’s magic cast-on, 10 rounds knit, then 3-needle bind off with stitches from provisional cast on. Stuff lightly. Max row length: 99 stitches, diagonal width after finishing is about 26cm or about 19cm along the sides.

Added the ring after a „row 7“ with 15 stitches remaining. Worked a button hole over the center 3 stitched following the great tutorial of Rita Maassen (in German). Results in a sturdy button hole that won’t wear out.

I cited Ducathi‘s Baker Twine above because I borrowed her idea of the hanger ring from her pictures, however I free-styled my own version without owning or having read her pattern. I might still buy it just to acknowledge the creative thought.

Will probably add a second one in complementary colors. It’s a nice „process knit“ if more complicated projects can‘t get the attention they need.

Finished a second one. Meterage is for both together, about 30g per cloth.

Not yet sure if I will use them myself but might make a cute little present one day.
