I made this using patterns from 5 different designs. The water was done using the Ocean Waves pattern. I alternated RedHeart Unforgettable Tidal and RedHeart Unforgetable Dragonfly bottom to top: 10 rows Tidal, 2 Dragonfly, 8 Tidal, 4 Dragonfly, 6 Tidal, 6 Dragonfly, 4 Tidal, 8 Dragonfly, 2 Tidal, 10 Dragonfly. This resulted in the waves becoming darker towards the top. I finished the bottom edge with The pattern called “Pink Wave Edge” in white. For the sand, I used RedHeart Unforgettable in Cappucino. I double crocheted 40 rows. The shells and sea turtles were crocheted using Ravelry Sea Turtle Applique and Ravelry Sea Shell Motifs using scrap yarn. The edging was done using RedHeart Unforgettable Tidal, again “ Pink Wave Edge”.
