tension for cast on is critical. keep it loose or the pieces won’t be long enough!

55 stitches for 17” hanger, like the pattern states.

i figured 51 stitches for my smaller 16” hanger.

i also sc twice into the corner stitches to give it a bit more breathing room.

i’ll be making more! so much prettier than plain hangers!
