Testknit exactly as written with 43 sections and five colors. No modifications. Started on March 30, 2024. Nearly halfway through one week later. Finished on April 14, 2024.

2 - Scots Pine / < one ball (9,1 g left after section 42)
3 - Peony / < one ball (9,3 g left after section 43)
4 - Oatmeal / < one ball (6,8 g left after section 38)
5 - Brass / ≤ one ball (1,0 g left after section 39)

Usage of colors in % (based on Holst Supersoft 50 g = 100%)
Color 1: 118%
Color 2: 82%
Color 3: 82%
Color 4: 88%
Color 5: 98%

Measurements (in cm) before / after washing
49 x 159 / slightly blocked to 50 x 172

  • Nougat and Oatmeal are pretty similar, that was intended when choosing the palette. You can only see the nuance if you look very closely.

  • Weaving in ends as I am working on, after finishing each section.

  • Used Barber cords up to section 24, then switched to interchangeables.

  • Grafting the last six I-Cord sts together (min. 4:40)

  • Total progress in %: section 24: 35% / section 28: 46% / section 32: 60%/ section 36: 74% / section 40: 91%
