I know I say this with each sweater I finish, but I have a new favorite! The pattern was very easy to follow and the yarn is perfect for it (of course, what ISN’T DIC perfect for?!)

I cast on for size 34 3/4 but did not use smaller needles. I wanted to ensure it would fit around my hips but still have enough negative ease it would pull the waist in as well so I wouldn’t have to do extra waist decreases for a trim fit there.

Mods:

• Cast on for smallest sleeve to fit my eensy wrists, but worked increases every 9th row up to 56 stitches.
• Knit sleeves for 22”
• To ensure left sleeve stripe still aligned with body stripe, began that at 19”
• Added a lined hood for extra coziness. With CC1 and RS facing, starting at right front, 7 sts before raglan sleeve edge, PU one st for each neckline st until 7 sts past left raglan edge. Worked flat for 12”, then with RS facing, did 3-needle bind off. For hood lining, with CC2 and WS facing, PU same number of sts as outer hood and again knit for 12” and bind off in same way. Then, using CC1, join hood outer and lining with single crochet around.

Total knit time: approximately 33 hours
