Notes

I live in the middle of the woods, so blaze orange outerwear/accessories are a must during hunting season each year. This year, I decided I wanted to be stylish AND safe. Enter the Safety Dance! Who knew blaze orange could look so good?

This pattern was super fun, though I did get stuck on sleeve island for a bit. But I have that issue with every single sweater I knit, so it’s no fault of the pattern.

Total knit time: approx 45 hours.

Mods:

  • Just one! (gasp! I know!) Added 2 extra hip increases, which thus increased the length a tiny bit.

Model measurements: 36-28-39

Yarn
The yarn is PERFECT for this type of pattern. It really shows off the cables well, and it’s really freaking warm. I got hot just posing for the photos! It’s also really squooshy and cozy.

Fun fact: the flannel I’m wearing under the sweater belonged to my dad in the mid-70s. :)
