This is a sweater I started to knit based on photos (and a pattern) I found in a knitting book from 1951 when such sweaters were called jumpers. The pattern was neither very detailed nor very practical (I prefer circular needles and I as well as raglan-like insertion of sleeves). I chose a very nice yarn which is a combination of alpaca and silk. I also made puff sleeves and knitted the shoulders together (“seamless” shoulders).
