Found a different cable pattern in Mishka I like to substitute for the middle just so I can justify not using the whole pattern from a sketchy designer, even though the pattern was free. Working out the stitch count, may have to frog and re-cast on.

I hope this will be done in time for Jan 21st for the Women’s March in Boston.

Frogged and restarted with modified chart that combines Josie and Mishka and a few of my own elements. Also taking the ribbing instructions from Looking Ahead….using US4s for ribbing…crossing my fingers that my assumption math is correct.

CO 106 stitches as the chart is a 53 st repeat to make it a reversible frontside hat.

Knitted 1 extra row, so total of 42 for chart to account for 3 Needle Bind Off take-in.

Finished just in time for the March in Boston tomorrow.
