Almost done with 2nd repeat…

Bundle order is:
brown
cream
purple
keylime
blue
heathered pink
tan
heathered grey

Actual knit order, the blue and key lime got switched (only realizing this now that I’ve finished the second repeat)

During 2nd repeat of brown, realized that there was a lot of yarn leftover…and we don’t want that! So I kept knitting to find out how many extra rows it yielded, then tinked back and measured the yardage to get rough estimates for each color after the 2nd repeat. So far it looks like I can add a 3rd mini repeat before I have to graft.

Here is what is left of each color:

• Brown (yielded an extra 5.5 rows, so can always end on a R1 and just pick up the next color and continue until the end) 264” = 7.33 yds
• Cream 262” = ~7.27 yds (5.5 rep?)
• Purple 323” = ~8.96 yds (7 or 8 rep?)
• Blue 274” = ~7.61 yds (6 or 7 rep?)
• Keylime 242” = ~6.72 yds (4 rep?)
• Heathered Pink 323” = ~8.97 yds (5 or 6 rep?)
• Tan 389” = ~10.81yds (7 or 8 rep?)
• Heathered Grey 315” = ~8.75yds (6 rep?)

Finished in the wee hours of the morning! Had to do the kitchener twice as when I was 1/3 through, I realized it was off by one stitch, so undid and moved the cast on edge one stitch to the left.

Definitely need to do the kitchener part in one sitting so as not to lose track.

The third mini repeat came out great!
Here are the amounts used and what’s left:

• Brown - 5 rounds (Started on a R1) 37” = ~1.03 yds remain
• Cream - 4 rounds (Started on a R2) 29” = ~0.81 yds remain
• Purple - 5 rounds (Started on a R2) 33.5” = ~0.93 yds remain
• Blue - 4 rounds (Started on a R1) 40” = ~1.11 yds remain
• Keylime - 4 rounds (Started on a R1) 8.5” = ~0.23 yds remain
• Heathered Pink - 5 rounds (Started on a R1) 27” = ~0.75 yds remain
• Tan - 6 rounds (Started on a R2) 41” = ~1.13yds remain
• Heathered Grey - 4 rounds (Started on a R2) (could do 5 rounds, but needed the extra round for kitchener) 86” = ~2.38yds remained before kitchener; After Kitchener - 30” = ~0.83 yds remain (so total of 56” used for grafting)
