Notes

Gauge achieved with needles stated in Pattern.

Errata: Place marker after Provisional CO and Before Cable CO in Set-Up of Left Side.

After Cable CO, you’re already on WS, so just start knitting to finish setup.

I’m gonna have a love/hate relationship with this yarn, we’ll see how it goes. Frogging will be a B.

Done with Left side, last color block row is 6 rows longer, as I realized that I did 13 repeats instead of a total of 14 after the first color block section.

Starting knitting on the wrong WS after picking up live stitches from pco, ended up doing 1 row extra to end on correct side to start first C1(Ivory) strip.

Knitting is finished and ends woven in.

Unstretched and Unblocked measurements:
50” X 18-21”

Will be wet blocking by pinning and spritzing. I will definitely have to do it in sections as I don’t have enough boards and 2 of my pin packs have disappeared, so it will be interesting to see how my sewing pins work out.

Had to block in two sections (didn’t have enough boards or pins) over 2 days.

Final measurements:
60” L X 24” W

Waiting for non-rainy weather to take nicer pictures outside.

Finally able to take nicer photos.

Will definitely have to pick up some blocking wires for my next shawl…too much unnecessary scalloping.
