Make like booties:

1. chain 9
2. sc around one side, 3 sc in the 9th (end) chain instead of 1, sc down the other side
3. chain 2, turn, hdc around increasing in each of the 3 sc made in the 9th (end) chain and hdc down the other side
4. chain 2, turn, hdc around
5. chain 2, turn, hdc around, increase in increase stitches (6 increase stitches), hdc down the other side
6. chain 2, turn, hdc around
7. chain 2, turn, hdc around, hdc in first three increased stitches, increase in the next 6, hdc to end
8. chain 2, turn, hdc around
9. chain 2, hdc around. Repeat for 4 rounds
10. Chain 1, turn, sc around
11. Chain 2, turn, hdc around. On 8th stitch, include oval made for mouth in hdc (use outter loop only from the mouth) and stop on the 7th last stitch
12. slip stitch and cut
13. At 7th sc, add yarn, chain across to the 7th last chain (# of chains should match # of chains left on mouth piece)
14. chain 2, turn, hdc across chain
15. Repeat step 18, until you have enough rows to sew to the top head piece. Chain around entire edge of head and this piece
16. Sew below mouth chain to head and sew bottom lip to lower head

Mouth:
Make oval mouth

1. chain 2
2. in second chain from hook sc 6
3. 3 sc in first st, 2 sc in second st, 1 in 3rd repeat to end (12)
4. sc 1 in first st,2 sc in next 3 st* repeat til 2 st remain, 1 sc in last 2
5. sc 1 in first three sts, 2 in next, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1 in next seven, 2 in next, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1 in last four sts.
6. sc 1 in first four sts, 2 in next, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1 in next ten, 2 in next, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1 in last six
7. sc 1 in first five sts, 2 in next, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1 in next thirteen, 2 in next, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1 in last eight
8. sc 1 in first six sts, 2 in next, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1 in next sixteen, 2 in next, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1 in last ten.
9. sc 1 in first seven sts, 2 in next, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1 in next nineteen, 2 in next, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1 in last twelve.
