Think I might make it slightly taller than the pattern calls for, as newborn is listed as 5” and most of the baby pattern charts I read say newborn should be 5.5 or 6” tall.

This pattern has been in my queue nearly 2 years!! Decided the other day to get some of the worsted weight baby hat patterns out, dust them off, and knit them. I’m in the midst of major baby knitting mojo for hospitals and I’m trying to make as many as possible.
