I made this shawl-wrap by combining sewing and crocheting techniques. First, I cut up some leftover fabric into square pieces and made some hand stitches around each one to make loops so as to be able to insert a hook through them. Then I crocheted an improvised lace pattern around every square. Next, I crocheted the black motifs, and finally joined all of those elements together. In the very end I crocheted the bordure around the whole shawl. I hope to write some instructions for it soon.
