Notes

This shawl/wrap is worked on the bias in two colours in a simple mesh pattern. I wanted it to be simple to knit and simple to write a pattern, and at the same time with something unusual in it’s construction. The name came out when I saw what is coming off my needles :-)

I wish I had more Lang Yarns Mille Colori Baby, one 50 gram ball wasn’t enough to make the project as planned, and I was playing chicken at the end and used up every single yard of both yarns.
I am also not very much happy with this particular Lang Yarns yarn (online shopping pitfalls). For the pattern I will recommend Lang Yarns Mille Colori Socks & Lace Luxe not because it has twice as much yardage, but also because it feels softer and silkier than Mille Colori Baby, and it also comes in the same colour palette as Mille Colori Baby.

Designed to use close to equal amounts of yarns:
madelinetosh tosh merino light - 0.80 skein;
Lang Yarns Mille Colori Socks & Lace Luxe - 0.70 skein.
