Notes

I don’t have the pattern for the Churchmouse welted gloves but this is how I began:

CO 50, magic loop, two-at-a-time.
After knitting first round:
“Purl 5 rows, knit 4 rows” x 5 to create 5 welts.
I’ll use the thumb gusset from “align” mitts (see project details above for link)

YARN: I love the yarn and adore the colours.

UPDATE: I left these sit for a couple months after finishing them as mittens instead of fingerless. Mitten was a bad idea. So I’ve finally gone back, tinked back to start over to make them as fingerless gloves again. My only regret -- but I am NOT going to redo them yet again -- is using an extra stretchy bind off for the finger part. I did an ordinary bind off on the thumb which is what I should have done for the finger opening. Still happy with them. Love the welting.

Photos were pre-washing/blocking.
