Dates: Had to leave knitting at home while out of town for 3 days otherwise would have finished sooner.

YARN: This yarn is utterly deluxe. These are the best fingering wt socks (so far) I’ve made -- it’s the yarn that makes them so incredibly comfy.

PATTERN: In general the pattern is a good one. Because she doesn’t deal with 2-at-a-time (which hardly any pattern does), I always have to fiddle to get the pattern to work so I can do them this way. But otherwise, I’ll use this pattern again and next time will definitely not chicken out so will use her afterthought heel.

MODS: Chickened out and did a short row heel/gusset instead of the afterthought heel.

I’m not at all a fan of how the kitchener stitch toe looks. One more reason why I much prefer knitting toe-up.
