Notes

I wasn’t going to make another Spirals; 4 skeins of yarn active at once was a b**** to wrangle.

However.

I really wanted to see how this pattern would turn out with only 2 colors. And I needed a baby blanket for a coworker. And I happened to have 2 skeins each of turquoise and off white that I had no real plans for.

sigh

Even though only 2 colors were used, the pattern still requires 4 skeins of yarn. The similar colors went next to each other, rather than across from each other, so the stripes are 2 colors, vice 4. I ended up using 8 stitch markers to help me keep place, moving the end marker from the previous round every time. Roughly 18 hours of work.

Result of color experiment:
I love it! It’s exactly what I was hoping it would be. The spiral is extremely evident! It does lose some of the cool effect of the post stitch section, but overall seems to show off the design.

Pictures tomorrow!
