I wanted to make this because I haven’t come accross the Woven Rib pattern before. I find it very effective. An enjoyable knit.
7/8/10 Abandoned this project to design a sweater that had popped into my head. Now that is out of the way I hope to finish this, only three quarters of the back to do and the neck.
This is actually a very quick knit and could have been done in three weeks or less. A good pattern for when there are people around and I can’t concentrate on more complex patterns.
It is amazing how each time I take a photo it comes out a different colour!

1st Row. P1,C4F,p2, C4F, re from to end p3.
2nd Row. P3, p4,k2, p4, rep from end k1.
3rd Row. P3, k2,T4B, rep from end k4, p1.
4th Row. K1,p4, k2, p4, rep from end k3.
5th Row. P3, C4B, * p2, C4B, rep from * end p1.
6th Row. K1,p4, k2,p4, rep from end k3.
7th Row. P1,k4, T4F, k2, rep from end p3.
8th Row. K3, p4, k2,p4, rep from end k1.

Rep 1st to 8th row.

T4B =slip 2 onto cable needle hold at back, knit 2 purl 2 from cable needle.
T4F = slip 2 onto cable needle, hold at front, p2, k2 from cable needle.
C4B slip 2 onto cable needle, hold at back, k2, k2 from cable needle.
