May 22, 2023 - ran out of yarn after finishing knitting the front. Ordered two more balls.

Found an alternative to the P2tog TBL that was giving me such trouble with my chosen splitty yarn. It’s an extra step, but no more dropped or split stitches:

There’s an undefined symbol on the charts, it’s an upside-down V that slants to the left. It’s not in the chart key. I’m guessing it’s the k3togTBL defined in the stitch list on page 3, but emailed the designer for clarification. (Never answered.)

This cast on took 3 hours to cast on 206 sts. Struggled with the video to graft the I-cord seamlessly. Also unhappy with the elongated cast on stitches along the I-cord and I’m sure it’s something I’m doing wrong, but after trying the cast on twice, not redoing.

Added length per direction by working rows 11-28 of T2 Appendix chart. (This took 105 yds yarn.)
