Original design calls for 1 ball; since I have 2, I may make more repeats of Budding Lace II to make it bigger.

Update 7/07: I’ll be doing 5 more repeats of the Budding Lace II pattern. as of 7/10, I’ve done 2 of the 5 extra repeats. Looks great.

Update 7/15: Finished the 5 repeats! Now stringing a lifeline before beginning the next section. Feeling so close to done!

Update 7/19: I’m nupping! It’s going so much faster now that I’m using my size 0 steel dpn to do the p5tog. I do sometimes grab that extra yo with it, though, dang it. (then I just flub a yo from the yarn before the next st)

8/1: Finished Lily of the Valley Border I! Put in another lifeline. Phew. Looks like Lily of the Valley Border II will line up perfectly.

8/5: Gah! Done with the nupps! finished LOTVB 2. One more chart!

8/6: Two more rows of the Peaked Edging to go. I have just yards of the first ball left. I’ll be digging into the second ball for sure, but just a few yards, I think.

8/7: It’s done! Done, done, done! Just have to block it and weave ends in. Only took a few yards of the 2nd ball of laceweight.

8/9: blocking! It’s even prettier--didn’t think that was possible.
