My changes:
Single crochet chainless foundation instead of starting chain. Used larger hook for foundation rather than try to crochet loosely.
On rows where sc is first st, made no turning ch.
On rows 4 and 6, hdc instead of dc. The shorter distance to pull up yarn helped keep work from curling.

I’m unhappy with this dishcloth’s tendency to curl. I probably just need more practice with Alpine Stitch. Also, the stitch looks very plain on the reverse side, though it’s nice and nubby on the front and will be good for washing dishes.
