Mr Meeseeks Ball Keychain

MATERIALS
• Small amount light (#3) cotton or cotton-acrylic yarn, turquoise or aqua blue
• About 2 feet of orange yarn
• A few feet of black embroidery thread
• Crochet hook size F / 3.75mm
• Sewing needle
• Tapestry needle
• Stuffing
ABBREVIATIONS:

• Dec = invisible decrease; sc2tog
• Ss2tog = slip stitch invisible decrease
Ch 20, join with sl st to 1st ch (creates a loop for hanging).
ROW 1: Ch 2. Holding hanging-loop up above work, 6sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6)
ROW 2: Inc around (12)
ROW 3: (Sc, inc) around (18)
Make a small tuft of hair using orange yarn; attach through center of piece.
ROW 4: (2 sc, inc) around (24)
ROW 5: (3 sc, inc) around (30)
ROW 6: (4 sc, inc) around (36)
ROW 7: Sc around (36)
ROW 8: Sc around (36)
ROW 9: Sc around (36)

On 7th row, using double strand of embroidery thread, make French knots for eyes. Add brows on 6th row.
ROW 13: (2 sc, dec) around (18)
Embroider mouth between 10th and 11th row. Using single strand, add cheeks.
ROW 14: (Sc, dec) around (12)
Using single strand, add chin on 13th row. Stuff; continue adding stuffing as needed while finishing ball.
ROW 15: Dec around (6)
ROW 16: Dec, dec, ss2tog (3)
Sl st in next st. Fasten off, leaving a few inches of tail, and use tapestry needle to sew ball closed. Push needle through center of ball and out the top, stitch base of hanging-loop to top of ball to reinforce, then push needle through center of ball and out bottom, cut yarn, and let end disappear inside ball.
