EYES: Using black crochet thread and small crochet hook, make 2 “eyes”: Mc, 6sc in circle, join to first sc, close circle. Fasten off leaving long tail for sewing. Using about 6 inches of white yarn and sewing needle, add “shine” to top corner of each eye.

ASSEMBLY

• LEGS: Hold 2 pipe cleaners together and fold in half. Insert loop-end into a leg, push down inside foot, and bend loop into foot-shape. At 3 rounds from mc on body, insert pointy ends between sts. Sew leg onto body using tail. Repeat with other leg on opposite side.

• ARMS: Stuff body. Fold 1 pipe cleaner in half, insert loop-end into an arm, and push loop down inside hand. On side of body, follow a line of sts from leg up to one row below top of neck, and insert pointy ends of arm pipe cleaner between sts. Sew arm to body using tail. Repeat with other arm on opposite side.

• HEAD: Make a small tuft of hair using orange yarn; attach through mc of head. Position an eye on head and pull center thread tail and white yarn tails through to inside; tie threads together and trim. Repeat with other eye. Using remaining tails, sew eyes down around edges. Using a double strand of black crochet thread, and sewing needle, embroider facial features.

• STUFF & SEW: Stuff body and head with fiber fill. Sew head opening to body opening using tail from head. Weave in ends.
