I really wanted to make this flower to embellish a poncho someone ordered using the special yarn provided by them. Used a 3.75mm hook to make flower but quickly realized I did not have enough yarn for the 7 petals nor enough to make it all black. I altered the pattern to fit 6 petals and when I got to the top of each petal (where the chain 2 is) I did 1 chain in one colour then used the other to go back down. I carried the yarn throughout it to limit how many ends to weave in. Love it! Will definitely make more of these again.
