Wondering what to do with a lovely tube of self-striping sock yarn that I cranked out while testing my Circular Sock Machine, I re-read EZ’s Knitter’s Almanac and stopped short at the February project… baby leggings!! I hand-knit the panty-part, then grafted on the two ends of the CSM tube for the legs. Then, I just had to ‘woman up’ and bring myself to cut the tube at the correct lengths, and finish off the bottom edges… it had to be done, alas. I doubt the mother would have accepted them otherwise. (the color in the top photo is most accurate)
