In reality, I used up a leftover yarn I had from years ago. The label says Heritage Mills Wintuk. I used all that I had (3.14oz/89g) through R11 of the pattern. Then I continued with the Dawn Sayelle Honey Beige yarn from R12 to the end. It matched almost perfectly and I can’t tell where one yarn ends and the other begins. I thought I’d have enough of the Heritage Mills yarn when I started, but when I ran out at R11, I really didn’t want to rip the whole thing out so I found this little bit of Dawn Sayelle yarn and used that to finish the hat. It’s a very good match, in my opinion.
