First off I want to give huge credit and thanks to jocelynlally and her AMAZING Bears Hat which inspired my first hat of this type and every one after that!

I made this hat to wear to the very last Harry Potter movie. I felt like it was fitting to make it in support of one of my favorite HP characters who really comes into his own in the last book and in particular in the last movie.

a few additional notes:

• the hat says “LONGBOTTOM - “
• if you are interested in the chart let me know, i’m happy to pass it along
• copied jocelynlally and added a pompom (and a big one at that!)
• started the decreases one row after the second stripe
• the letters are duplicate stitch

Many thanks to Akininja for her awesome duplicate stitch skills on this. She was kind enough to do the lettering on mine, and in return i knit the body of her “Hufflepuff” hat. We work well as a team!
