Made this hat for a friend with a 24” head.

Used US 5. Gauge of 6.25 stitches/inch

c/o 120 as pattern indicated.

Added leftover alpaca yarn from previous projects for striping. It was similar to jeaniak’s project. I made the fold up ribbing longer and started to decrease around 10”.

The green/dark green striping is actually bulky yarn vs. the worsted size of the other yarn. I did random striping and it turned out to look pretty nice.

Final length: 13.5”
Striping: 4.5”
Decrease length: 3.75”
