Making a size 4 for my 7 year old because that’s what her measurements are.
Even though my gauge is spot on, it looks SO SMALL. It’s freaking me out. I’ve tried it on her twice, and it FITS, like, she’ll probably wear it for family pictures, and then quickly pass it down to her little sisters. But she keeps telling me she likes it and doesn’t need it to be bigger. We’ll see what happens after blocking.
It’s knitting up so quickly that I don’t mind making another before pictures if I have to.
P.S. I accidentally bought chunky instead of worsted, but I’m still getting gauge… so, whatever! lol

I was almost done with the body and then I had to rip it all out because it was way too small! I’ve started over with a size 8 now!

Ok, the size 8 ended up being a tad big, but not too much. She’ll be able to wear it next winter as well, I expect.
I love the finished product. It’s so beautiful. I kind of wanted to do color, but she really wanted white, and I’m glad that’s what we went with!
