Going wild on the Wild Bees from the start! I’m doing a k1p1 cuff for 10 rnds, then black stripes to match the bottom of the first chart. Inc to 72 on first yellow stripe, Inc to 80 on last yellow stripe. Start first chart. The heel turn instructions are baffling. I couldn’t tell if I was supposed to finish the row or turn. I tried. But I had to rip that back and do a heel turn I knew would work. Continuing my stripes at the end of the heel turn while picking up gusset sts. Not sure why the bees and hearts are not set up symmetrically, but it at least looks like the same set up on the pattern picture. I am not sure how the fit will be, it seems a little wonky after finishing the first sock.

The bee socks are done! They are a slouchy pair, which is okay. I wish the color work was centered better. I have a plan to modify for another pair, taking out the flowers and hearts and omitting the white. We’ll see how the next pair goes!
