I crocheted the hat to fit my scarf and mittens, though it does not have the same stitch as the scarf. Still similar, though. I believe the scarf stitch could be made to work with this partrtern as well, though. The pattern is really great and fits well. I added a seed stich knitted border instead to the pattern border to fit the scarf. I added a silver thread to the edges as well. The flower is removable.
