Notes

I would have loved to make this in the original Rowan yarn, but have some BC baby alpaca in my stash that needs a project, so decided to use that.

I decided to use the yarn held double, ast the garment would otherwise have been too thin. This makes the fabric slightly thicker and hotter than the Rowan original, and I will probably add some long plain sleeves at some point soon >.<

The patterns is great … really fun and easy to knit … much faster than I imagined, given the small needles.

The BC Garn Baby Alpaca is really soft and lovely … also a bit expensive. It is also softer and less fuzzy /wooly than other Alpaca Yarns I have used. It reminds me more of a Lace yarn, such as ‘Fine Lace’ from Rowan, but slightly thicker than that.

The photos are temporary … the light is just awful and the weather really bad, si it is hard to take proper pictures.

Body finished on Jan 12. The yarn delivery took time at my LYS, so was only able to finish the sleeves on Feb 16. Pictures with sleeves forthcoming.
