Notes to self:

I varied from the type of picots used around the edge of the doily as I used a plumper picot than what pattern called for (hdc, not slst) Other than that I followed the pattern except for the beginning of round 17.

To start round 17 I did not do a chain 3.
I did this instead:
Sc in the chain 3 space that was created at the end of round 16, then chain 2. (this sc and chain 2 replaced the chain 3 that is at the beginning of the written instructions for round 17 and that is considered the beginning dc. And it moved that beginning dc into the loop instead of it being located above the loop)

Center: size 3, color# 670, burgundy Lizbeth thread and size 0 steel crochet hook.

Lace edging: size 10, color# 619, ecru Cebelia, and size 8 steel crochet hook.

If I make this again I think I need to try a size 7 steel hook for the lace, or, I need to use a size 1 hook for the central portion.
