7/30/9:
Sweet joy, I’m done! It still has to be blocked, more photos to come when it’s all nice and pointy. For reference, the shawl is “shawl size” already and it’s not even been pinned yet! Holy cow.

4/13/9:
I’m using size 6 beads since not one of the three big box chain stores I visited had size 8, and to be honest I just wanted to cast on. I wish the beads were more uniform in size, but other than that, they’re perfect!

I’ve already ripped out halfway once because I’m a jack-ass and kept forgetting the right YO, mostly because the stitch markers were getting in the way. I have since removed them and have only forgotten once. It’s staying in there.

The yarn is LOVELY, really really lovely. I’m amazed at how soft and luscious feeling it is. My ball has a slight (pretty) haze to it, probably because it was wound and carried around for a couple of days before using and then packed away until now. I’m wondering if the next ball will do the same thing.

The pattern is very simple, at least the yucca section is, I have a feeling this will be a semi-mindless knit. Yay for TV knitting!
